I agree with the gambling mechanic, I would definitely tweak some things to make it more worth it (higher returns, or something else). I'm actually really happy you brought up the cursed method that you found and also removing the gun game! I wanted to give the player as much flexibility as possible to create their own boards and come up with their own strategies also. Granted, the game is very unbalanced so you can probably win easily with some of them but it's all for fun anyway!
