Got here but don't know what to do next, tried to get purple key but i can't get it from red, have i done smg wrong already?

I’m also stuck here despite coming back to this daily and trying everything I can think of. Feel like I have to be fundamentally missing something but no idea what.

Spoilers(?) My gut says the next step from both a puzzle design teach you the game perspective, and just the tools available to me, is *probably* to position a green room (possibly nested) in such a way that I can push the red key or purple key into one of its side doors, but I feel as if I've basically brute forced the possible approaches there and found nothing that works yet. (Clearly completely not brute forced since I'm still stuck, I know)
