The SFX for this game is seriously incredible; I wanted to break the lollipop so bad! I think it should have more acceleration/control so turning around isn't such a drag, but the physics are solid.

Thank you for the feedback! Breaking the lollipop in on my TODO list. This is my first game jam and I did it solo, so my time allocation was all over the place and there was no time left for that :(
For the SFX, I did only the rolling sound and the rest is from FilmCow. Check their huge free SFX libraries.
More acceleration was causing too much drifting The main problem with turning around is the stick. It's just not possible to turn as fast as a sphere... I have spent too much time with this, so I got used to it, but while standing still one can jump and turn the stick midair. It's tricky, but doable. And then there is the power glide, which works similar to the rocket in Super Mario Kart.
I want to tune the controls and improve the game in the future, so I am very thankful for all the feedback!
