It looks super cool, when I was a kid I read a whole monography about the Siege of Malta! I definitely pretended to be a Joannite a lot that summer...
I played the bit and will definitely play more of it soon.
That being said - is Alt+F4 the only way to exit now? There does not seem to be any menu available under ESC, Tab nor any other key.

Thanks for your interest! Your input is very helpful. Hovering top left brings down the inventory bar(or scroll 😀 - that took me ages to perfect!). Hovering top right brings down the tool bar scroll where you can save, quit, etc... I will lower them to make them more intuitive!

Ooooh... didn't think about that. They are completely invisible until I hover there. Maybe the scrolls could be there all the time, just rolled up? Otherwise I think lots of players will have a similar problem.

I think I made the inventory and the toolbar more accessible now.. I just added an image which is sort of out of place and the player says "hmm... what is that?" bringing down the bars... so thanks for the advice! I can send you the video on discord if you like and you can tell me what you think(here I can only embed a youtube video).

Btw I downloaded your game. It is not the genre I normally play but I genuinely enjoyed your story telling and the world you are building!
