The romance content are optional, and Xor as a character is a complicated guy. A lot of his intentions can be interpreted in many ways! If you just want to play to experience the moral dilemmas, then that's also valid! The game gives you a lot of freedom! (However, there is a particular ending that leans toward a darker, more questionable relationship, but it requires very specific circumstances to occur!) Though, Xor does have a lot of unhealthy behaivors and relatioship style so take that into account as well T-T
