The AI in this game is absolutely horrid, and there's no way to configure it.  The towers always choose the closest instead of the ones damaging the base, the soldiers run off into the field to get slaughtered instead of remaining behind in defense or prioritizing more crucial enemies, they won't return to the hospital for healing unless every single thing is dead - it's artificial difficulty at its worst.  The early stages of the game feel like an exercise in utter frustration, making me want to scream at the soldiers and towers, "no, you idiots, THEY'RE SMASHING THE CASTLE TO BITS!"

Hahaha, thank you for your patience while playing the game; soldiers can only heal when there’s no raid going on—that’s how I designed it.

But for the other families, I could add priority options—for example, an update where they lock onto the first enemy or attack the one closest to the village.
