hey! this is some great progress so far! the movement and animation looks really great for a first day.
i'm not sure how final the dog (guinea pig?) sprite art is but i did want to ask.... is the game intended to be about dog fighting? if so i may caution against it because it may be difficult for some people to play even in a fictional game with its resemblance to a real life blood sport that's very uncomfortable and harmful. i think the mechanics of this are pretty similar to existing games though so i think it'd pretty easy to pivot to making it about monsters or something fictional that less resembles dogs. either way best of luck with the jam!
