This one was an actual treat - the gameplay is simple, but the mechanics slap. The music gave Heaven Pierce Her vibes, with the ultrakill-style beats amidst synthetic strings and it really set that hectic tone. Sound design was a bit all over the place though - I feel like some punchier sounds could really have made that stand out.

The actual gameplay loop and deck-building style with the bullet storage is really fun - I managed to get lucky after the first boss and roll a bullet that cleared every chamber permanently, and my first mag was filled with all the bloodshots and poisons I had stacked up. Firing once cleared them all from my deck - and left me with a rapid-fire weapon without drawback.

Combine that with the trinkets for money boosting, and trinkets that went even further and gave me extra damage for every empty chamber, I quickly became a total powerhouse. The first boss fight was super close - I stomped the second. It felt really, really satisfying to lock in and take the game by storm.

This was a really fun roguelike that gave me the same sort of deck-building vibes that games like Die In The Dungeon do, with the incremental building up of your inventory to eventually sway odds and strategy in your favour.

The visuals are simple but effective, and give that old-indie effect that stuff like The Binding of Isaac has, and it works well with the entire UI design being punchy, snappy, and packed full of visual flair.

I liked this one. I had fun with this one. I might come back and play it again.

This could definitely, when polished up, make a really cool full release.

Die in dungeon was actually my main inspo for this. Also just one of my favorite games lol. Also heaven pierce her is just a large inspo in just my music in general. Thanks so much for all the kind words!

It shows. You nailed that musical aesthetic and the game feel of deck building Die in the Dungeon has. Good work man - this definitely has the trappings of being something really fun
