physically disconnecting the Xbox controller and Dualsense from the PS5 helped, thanks for the help
glad it worked out for you!
sometimes with this bug, simply disconnecting isn't enough. if it happens again (or for any other user reading this in the future that a physical disconnect did not solve,) disabling through device manager is the usual fix.
