Truth be told, I never actually wrote smut before starting to work on FF:HR and this is still a bit new to me, so that's probably why some of it still looks amateurish. Still, I'd prefer to try to improve my own skills little by little rather than hiring someone to write smut in my stead. At some point I'll definitely revisit older scenes and expand them to make them feel like proper rewards~
Rereading my comment and it was harsher than intended! And you’ve definitely got me interested in checking back regularly on the project. I think the writing is fun and well paced in other places too for what it’s worth, very easy to read a lot of the characters in their voices for a lot of lines!
I’m of the belief that writing carries like 75% of the actual NSFW part in ren’py games so it’s really high value stuff to hook your players and the art is mostly there to help them visualize what is effectively an explicit fanfiction they had to grind to get. Not to mention there’s a lot of wildly popular games like CoC that prove just how much just writing can carry a whole experience.
I’m also a dev(on a nsfw alt account ha) and definitely relate to how difficult it can be to develop a variety of skills and be a jack of all trades for your team. Please stick with it and the project will keep blossoming especially if you can nail the spiciness on the writing front! Look forward to the future updates!
