Whoah! There was a cool top down driving game I used to love called the last v8, as soon as I saw that fuel guage I had flashbacks! I actually thought when it started I was watching a cool intro as my car smalled into another car and spun off, then I realised it was actually the game and was even more impressed. It's REALLY hard and ultimately a memory game (I don't have many brain cells left). I think you should keep working on this, maybe zoom out a bit as you pick up speed.
