Well, even if it is a short game - only 4 levels - it is very well written. It shows the power of C language on the good old C64.
Perfect game if you need a 10 minutes shmup play :)

I'd like to explain the reason for the 4 levels:
I created everything myself: code, graphics, and even composed the music and sound effects. I believe that only for the C64 and similar platforms is it still possible for a single programmer to create an entire video game.
Being alone, I had to balance release time with content, and I decided to limit myself to 4 levels for an initial release.
This doesn't mean that additional levels or a sequel to the game itself won't be released later!
Your game deserve all the good things I wrote in my previous comment. I also know you're the only master on board so 4 levels is a good amount.
I really appreciate the parallax scrolling. I don't know you can code it in C instead of assembly language. I'm impressed by the result.
And more content? Why not? :)
