Really cool game! The movement felt pretty good overall, and the bomb ability was really cool! I think when attacking, it would be good to ensure the player stays facing the same direction they attacked while the attack animation is playing. I found it unclear when I was actually landing hits. Some more visual feedback could help too, like adding a white flash to the enemy after striking it.
The boss was cool, but I wasn't sure when it was attacking or why I was taking damage. Sometimes my HP would drain to almost 0 and I wouldn't know why. Maybe some more clear indicators on the enemy attacks would help, or make it clear if there's contact damage or anything (I couldn't tell lol).
But overall, there's a lot of cool potential with the mechanics you have in place, so great work! The game was fun to finish!
