Hey there! The Calibration system is for physical maps only. To calibrate it to a digital map, please turn on the grid overlay and align it with the background maps grid with the micro adjustment settings. Feel free to turn it off after. At that point, it should be calibrated to the size of the grid. Sorry this wasnt mentioned in the how-to's, they are very bare bones at the moment!
