There are several cool things in this story, but mostly I feel confused. The endings were both quite abrupt and I didn’t really get much of them (mostly, about the plans and motives of Engil, and also how the curse/disease got cured (it it was?)). I think instead of having a choice, it would have been better to combine both paths in one, it would have have helped the pacing, flesh out some parts of the story and maybe lower the number of scenes without relevant visuals and sounds.
The writing is alright, but there is a lot of typos. The sprites and backgrounds are nice, too bad for the missing ones. A big part of the VN is completely missing in audio, which is a bit distracting. The folklore theme is quite present with the village’s flower based traditions and the story of Regen, both of which informs the actions of the characters (although some are unclear).
Overall, this VN has cool stuff in it, but it is undercooked. The story feels rushed at the end, which makes those parts hard to parse and the lack of relevant visuals in some crucial parts lower their impact. You can fix it, though, I’m sure!
