This is absolutely amazing. The doubly integrated theme is by far the best implementation I've seen yet, it's just wonderful.
The art is simple but clean and works well, I really like the sound effects / vocalisations of the characters. The tutorial is just right and integrates nicely into the storytellings. I'm struggling to think of anything constructive to say, because this is just such a great game.
I think there is scope to tune the difficulty in a manner that isn't just making the slices smaller and faster. But that would probably only need to be thought about for a larger, non-jam game.
This is probably the strongest entry I've played so far, and I greatly enjoyed it. Thank you.
