I definitely feel the same way with this is also my first game jam creating a real fully finished game without completely following some tutorial. Godot has been extremely fun to learn due to the simple system especially since my first engine I tried was unity which was very overwhelming without knowing C#. Anyway, I started on Monday because of a trip I had to go on so I was not fully sure if I was going to make the deadline but after much hard work (probably a bit too much) I ended up with something I was truly proud of. Besides this, hearing on youtube from juniper dev that a very serious game jam was starting soon was the right kick to push me to begin creating. And not just that, but the community is among one of the nicest that I have been apart of and hearing feedback for your game by people that were actually interested in it was surreal.  Without this, I would probably just be scrolling all summer long.

tl:dr I loved competing in this game jam!
