Nice to see another rhythm game ๐
The 3d graphics and audience are awesome! That Dog DJ has some swag for sure.
Some small nitpicks:
Music restarts when you click play, and then again when the actual song starts. That's a little too much restarting haha. If you want an easy variation just for the menu song you could've just used the same song with a low pass filter for instance.
I think any rhythm game needs an offset adjustment if you have player inputs determining accuracy.
I needed to hit quite early (listening to the music) for it to count it as perfect instead of late. Since you don't have any hit sounds there is 0 negatives in having an offset control!
That plain white text "Spin To Win" didn't really fit the visuals. Everything else was nicely stylized so just having white text on a basic font makes it look inconsistent and unprofessional.
Also I found a small bug. When you restart by losing (or from refreshing the page??) there's some double notes that shouldn't be there.
I didn't find that the chart expressed the music as well as it could've. Of course it's on beat but it doesn't clearly represent some aspect of the music. (Like follow the lead melody, bass or drums for instance)
I will say that song is so repetitive that it would be hard to make a good chart for it. (It's possible though you could have one pattern for the bass line and one for melody and do variations on them when they're together etc.)
I think you were very ambitious learning 3d modelling and making it a rhythm game in the same week.
Overall great job! Hope you do well in the jam ๐
