I loved this! The vibes are great, and it manages to feel fast paced despite how much time you spend just watching the cyclones.
The damage system feels unclear, especially because we don't have much indication on how the enemy cyclone is doing. Are you defeated when your wedge deck runs out? When you get hit without a wedge in the way? I'd also like to echo silverhammermba that the number of "scrambling" wedges made it hard to rely on any effects being around, but I do think that they help to keep it interesting and force people to adapt.
Special shout out for the music and the art direction, I really like how the portraits fill in the empty space around the arena, and again with the music keeping it pumping.
