Hi! I love spinning, so I sat with this one for quite a while(I swear i am not addicted). I really enjoyed it and think it's a great concept overall. But I have to ask: is it actually winnable if played perfectly, or is it an endless survival game? I always end up with too many negative parts and inevitably lose.
I did a little math on the expected value: If bad parts spawn automatically after a certain number of spins, you will get a negative return over time unless you delete them. Deleting one costs 75, but it's not quite worth the investment. To break even, I would need to land on that specific bad part at least 1.5 times (if it's a -50 part) or 3 times (if it's -25). The probability of landing on it that many times is low, especially when new bad parts spawn every 3 spins or less.
Also, using the x2 buff doesn't seem cost-effective. It lasts for 3 rounds and is very expensive. Even when I can afford both the buff and a +100 part, there are usually so many bad parts on the board already that the x2 buff ends up costing more than it yields.
The same goes for the shield. Because bad parts keep spawning, at some point, you will win less than once every 3 spins, so combining a shield with a spin yields a negative return. Even buying +50 parts for 50 coins eventually becomes negative in the long run, simply because the bad ones keep spawning and diluting the pool.
Was this an intentional design choice to make the game progressively harder, or just a balancing oversight? Either way, it's a really engaging project! I really hope you check out mine game, I also had some balance problems hahah...
