I like the concept! However, I was having some trouble playing the game because of my keyboard layout. I have a non-US keyboard and the game wasn't correctly registering the slash key (even after changing the layout on the software side), so I wasn't able to open or close the help screen. Using modifier keys in commands can be tricky, so it's something to keep in mind in the future.
