The puzzle system is decent. I'd prefer a roguelite where you try to get as deep into a dungeon as possible while racking up debuffs. First person view is unique and interesting.
E: Check out Dungeon Depths for what I think would work here, but with something like these premade puzzle dungeons inside to break up the roguelite. Plus having the debuffs actually have an effect on gameplay, not just "different damage" as you said in the FAQ.
