I absolutely loved this (it's my favorite jam game so far), amazing work! The atmosphere even just from the main menu was so good, the visuals and the texture you gave to all of the documents were so beautifully done. Great storytelling and premise, and some of those notes hit really hard - Echoes of the Prodigy and Liar were my personal favorites, and the spellings in Mercian's Letter just melted my heart. Some really interesting twists that made me gasp out loud too, hehe
I could gush about this for a hot minute lol but I do have a couple of notes! Like others have mentioned, I also ran into those 2 broken jumps in Death Records and The Great Houses. The other things are about the music - I love the tactile sound effects but I would have really enjoyed continuous music to go with them (though I imagine this might have been a time thing, I know we had trouble figuring out looping music in our game). On top of that, I think layering the Beethoven with ambience is clever, but the ambient track used was a little bit too tonal/musical in the bass, which would probably have been okay if it were in the same key, but I found the dissonance to be distracting while reading.
Overall, the game is visually stunning and the writing is really compelling, I'm looking forward to playing more of this in the future! :D

Thank you for the detailed review and kind words! They made me smile :)

As for the music, it was done last minute, and it's definitely high on my list of things to change before I update the game.  Your feedback also reminded me that I should add an options menu so players can adjust the music and ambient track to their liking. Thanks again for the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed my game!
