Loved the puzzle in this game! By any chance, are there any plans or projects that you're currently working on that are similar to this?

The premise of this game is genuinely fascinating to me, but I have to be honest, the execution was a little lacklustre.

Heh, I think I'd agree. I made this over six months, starting with the "Evil Cocomelon" premise. I went through three different versions of mechanics for the game before arriving at what you see now. I got stumped trying to "gamify" the premise, so I released it with the current puzzle system.  I don't think I ended up doing the premise justice, but I did learn a bunch about horror, lighting, and the brass tacks of setting an atmosphere.

I've got an idea in my back pocket for another horror game. You work as a night shift nurse in a hospital, and a swarm of bugs arrives and lays eggs in people's eyeballs. Turns them crazy and / or into monsters. You have to survive and keep your patients alive the whole night. (I've got some irl experience as a nurse, so I can draw on that too.)

I see, it's quite interesting to see the process, and the lighting effects were good in my opinion. For horror, I advise focusing more on the fear factor and ways to immerse the player in the world than on the gameplay, not that you should completely ignore it, though.

And as for that new game, that is such an interesting idea! Stress-inducing, fast-paced gameplay usually goes hand-in-hand with horror, so I would love to check it out when it releases! I'll be sure to keep an eye out in the meantime.
