Tier 6 is not fun. The seeking function stops the ship in front of the "motes" and refuses to run over them if you didn't start out heading straight for them, but then your mouse is constantly out-of-alignment with whatever the random direction of travel was to the next one is, and you can't even manually fire a lazer any more to get it. It wouldn't be such a big deal for a little while, but the amount you have to grind to get to tier 7 wastes an hour with no real benefit for the player in the grinding.
