Sorry for the late response but I managed to fix the issue by reinstalling the game. however before I reinstalled I checked the save file, it did have an x in the word.
No problem. Thanks for bringing the issue to my attention. Tho I couldn't replicate the issue I uploaded a new version of the game with a possible fix for what I thought may be the issue.
