Bought this a little while ago and really loving it. I've been using the Musashi presets for a piece, and just wondering if you have any general advice and/or tips for using those?

More specifically, I've been trying to get the snares and brass to sound similar to this song from the ost, "sword fight" (my favorite): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25ayfZaQOmg&list=RD25ayfZaQOmg&start_radio=1

but I'm having trouble figuring out which effects to use, just can't get the sound quite right. Any advice would go a long way though, thanks!

Let me see if I can help!  Musashi has one of my favorite soundtracks of all time!

In GuyEngine, here are the presets that correspond to this track's instruments.

Low Brass BFM - The very low brass swells
Trumpets BFM - Brassy stabs in the midrange
Pizzicato Strings BFM - flavor
String Ensemble BFM - flavor
Snare Roll FFTA - This is technically based on the same sample, but I neglected to put a version of it in the Brave Swordsman Guy section

As for effects, Brave Fencer Musashi uses a combination of big reverb, and no reverb.  Sometimes it uses the Hall preset, and other times it uses none at all.  You sort of have to experiment to see what feels right.
I hope this helps!

That is extremely helpful tysm! Switching to the ffta snare and the psx hall reverb made a huge difference.
