Then, probably, will have to untangle the code spaghetti I've accumulated. Honestly, the further I get the more I feel kind of dissatisfied. I mean, I wanted to do more. It's an issue of expectations ig. But I'm still going.

Oh, I'm not a member of the Jam Discord server. To be honest, I found out about it myself through the feed at itch.io/jams.
As for untangling the code, I totally get you! But luckily, I managed to fix it after spending some time. I hope it works out for you too!
