It's OK, but I think it's going to be way too repetitive for a full game, especially if you start from the first floor each time.

If there was more of a traditional RPG or roguelike, with pseudo-randomly placed chokepoints for certain character values (e.g. Bimbo class can't even try to solve some puzzles), I think it'd be a much bigger hit.

Good news, every floor will be its own checkpoint.

This actually started out as a roguelike attempt, but I couldn’t wrangle the mechanics into a satisfying gameplay loop. And I’m sure you’re right: it would be a bigger hit IF I could get such a system working well. BUT, this is what I’m confident I’m capable of, and I shall be content with a smaller turnout.
