Glad you enjoyed! Yeah, I think the tool usage is going to be a highlight. Making cursed items for these games has always been fun.
I defo prefer the “happy” ending side of things, but I appreciate your opinion, and I can understand the sense of danger can add to the excitement of things. I’d love to get a feel for how many people prefer one way or another.
The “how your character reacts to tf” setting actually sets what expressions the character can cycle through when they get TF’d. MAYBE what I can do is make a similar setting toggling which of two versions of any given game-over the player experiences; a more light-hearted or more intense game-over. But that’s going to hinge on how much extra work that turns into, and if I have the guts to write the “bad” endings XD
The current plan is to have only one true solution for each Level, and have a bunch of levels of similar size to this one. But I will noodle on multiple paths. Maybe multiple paths and having a “You beat this level, but there is a second way to beat it!” tracker for the completionists. We will see.
Oh; and the butt vs skeletons was honestly a bit of an oversight on my part. Wanted to cobble together a working prototype sooner than later XD
Thank you for the thorough feedback! This is the type of stuff I was hoping to hear back on.
