Ok, I tried Project Threshold...... OOOHMYYYGOOODDD!!!
XD Seriously, dude.. you've got a talent for scaring people. I only made it to room 7 for now, but this is making me want to learn ...what was it, Unity? Cuz this is so damn good.
I work with Renpy, it's known for VNs but it can do much more once you know your Python tricks, although nothing like a 3D game or a 2D platformer (well, you can, it's just crazy hard and will never look as good as on Unity).
I'm squeezing my brain thinking how on Earth I could possibly do something like this on Renpy, but there's just mechanics that would never work.
Loved the "LOOK AT IT" messages etc, it's seriously messing with the player's head. The sitting girl/doll solution was magic, I really liked that one.
I guess the only critique I have for this game is that you can't save between rooms and have to start over and over until you get it right (which however makes this scarier and more unnerving, so that's still a plus.. 😅).
All in all, I'm giving you a 9-10/10, cuz it's been a while since I have played anything this scary and I know people that won't even try it when I suggest they try playing this little terrifying gem. 😉
Seriously well done. Would love to know more about what you used, the dolls/clown/props you used, the process you followed and if you got inspired by some other creator/director/etc.
