yeah I ran out of time lol, it was made for a game jam idk if you came from that, and I procrastinated + slept through most the jam so the features are rather rushed

m,y first released jam game tho!

theirs limb inheritance in the game but I didn't have time to make limbs and add them to the species

but the end goal for the jam *was* going to be "make a dragon" 

you would combine sheep wolves birds fish and hair together (and other things possibly) to try making a species with 4 legs 2 wings 2 horns a neck and a head  

limb inheritance works actually, this would be *possible* to do in the game already *if* I had the limbs and the species created

but I ran out of time and just only added simplistical lifeforms to the pool, 

while you can find the complex life forms in console, but they don't have limbs so they'll be invisible and may error.

they will also be able to bread with simple lifeforms so  please be careful if experimenting, your life forms are gunna start growing with invisible limbs! 

but the update for the game will come with mod support for creating your own species as well as a actually polished UI and main menu, as well as not be rushed,

this update may take some time tho, 

and I will not promise it'll even come out,

with the history of my games they very often stop being updated and then I loose project files and then I just can't update it anymore.

I've removed many projects because of this but recently decided to leave the dead games up, that way they are at least archived

as literally none of my old games are archived or findable anymore and it's rather sad.

Edit: 

 overall, the gameplay loop is watching your fish colony grow :D and turn into a not so fish colony!

or your wolf colony

or puppy colony

or whatever

it is also practice for my spell system for my upcoming rpg game (on steam) which has species fusion and breeding and hunting, all of which are present in this system!
