purely from a gameplay perspective:
the core loop is pretty good. i think a wider selection of weapon upgrades would have been cool. once you find the cycle of spinning around the enemies and sticking to the walls, there isn't much incentive to do anything else besides the occasional straggler catching up to you (which is immediately easily remediable with a measly 10-30 scrap). so another enemy type that behaves differently to encourage switching up gameplay would have helped keep gameplay fresh, i feel.
i share the same concerns about AI as others have pointed out. i would have skipped this game entirely if it wasn't in my review queue.
