Very cool, complex core mechanic with great presentation. Unfortunately I can't even complete the first stage as it's not very clear how the breeding exactly works. I think having the first level be pre-determined where you only have 2 aliens to make the desired final product would be much better. That way the player would know how the two aliens combined to make the final product.
