This game looks great. I'm really curious how the shaders were implemented on this.
Some feedback:
- After around 10 levels, it felt very repetitive and needed something other than blindly going through a maze and hoping there isn't a dead end. However, thank you for leaving enough room in the dead ends to get around the chaser.
- I like the idea of upgrades throughout, but often I received the same option multiple times, so really I had 2 choices not 3.
- The helix level screen is a fantastic way to show progress
- The first time the beam connected to destroy, I thought it was attacking me and ran away not realizing what was happening.
Really cool demo though.
Is the heart beat animation a small pixel animation + a shader warp?
