download the windows 10 compatibility version in the download section .

it should fix this. Unsure why Windows 10 has issues with this boss. but that build fixed the issue with other players

However, I'm already using the Windows 10 compatible version.

Perhaps this issue only affects a small number of users.

Thank you for your response. ^^

Hmm. Try one of the other versions of the game then. I'll try to add a backup for users that the shader causes issues.

ok.

The other versions only show a black screen with sound when I start them, so I can only use the Windows 10 version, haha.

Oh, I found that if I disable all anti-aliasing settings, the black screen issue no longer occurs.

I'll try using the Windows x64 version 1.0.3 and see if I can get past it and reach the Virus Fortress stage.

Great! The issue has been resolved!

I  using the Windows 64-bit version 1.0.3. After disabling all anti-aliasing options in the NVIDIA Control Panel, the problems with the black screen when zooming in and certain visual effects not displaying properly disappeared.

I think the issue may have been related to Fortress of Peril 3's boss particle effects not rendering correctly. For example, after defeating the soldiers, the boss's disappearance effect would not play.

I'm not sure why disabling anti-aliasing doesn't seem to work on the Windows 10 version, though—haha.

Anyway, thank you for your reply and assistance!
