this might genuinely be one of the best games ive ever played!!!!!


The way ive found this game was by stumbling upon past hopes again, then i saw you poublished new games and was overjoyed, expecting another masterpiece like the previously mentioned; AND TOTALLY IT WENT BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!!!!!

*spoilers ahead*

I love how cruddy Aoi and his love for mc is, he truly was, and is, a horrible person, ASPD even, his character is so interesting the trope he and MC follow is everything to me. I believe he's incredibly well written and overall i love how his character was portrayed throughout the game, esp in envy and true endings where its shown he does feel guilt at times,, I LOVE HIS JEALOUSY ISSUES SOO MUCH TOO 👀👀👀👀👀 

lets not forget about Higan though. He is such a sweetheart too i just feel like not much was shown about him in the main game.. which is why im eagerly awaiting for the extra ch2 to be released and translated. He is also nicely written from my perspective, he is strong for enduring all that Aoi put him through and still shows up with a brave face🥹🥹 hes such a tsundere i cannot lie lol, not that its a bad thing i love him

Lastly, the mc... even the mc is likeable in this game,  (I will refer to mc as a male as i see him as such) i really liked the twist the reveal that he is more than just a naive go lucky guy,  that he is jsut putting on an act drowned in lies to cope with his messed up life, i also adore the dynamics he shares with both love interests- the toxic codependency with Aoi, and the genuine friendship with Higan, how Higan decided to let MC in & trust him and how MC showed real vulnerability/true self with Higan after only living in lies. He truly embodies the "fawning" response lolol, now onto Aoi and him, i found it interesting how he decided to stay with him regardless during true ending, but i cannot lie, envy ending was my favorite out of all 5

The cgs, art, story, soundtracks... all those were so beautiful and just made me want to keep playing everything this vn has to offer, im really a big fan of frozen iri's works and as i previously stated, i cannot wait for the extra ch2

(my only complains are basically what baru2901 said, hence why i didnt feel like adding them to this already lenghty comment. As a last thing, if i could code, id be willing to translate the game to spanish as that is my first language.)

It’s such a lovely coincidence that you discovered this game through *Past Hope*. The two stories do share a certain symmetry in structure.

I’m truly honoured that you appreciate the emotions woven into the story. If I may share a personal thought—jealousy is, to me, one of the most fascinating feelings of all. Whether it’s romantic jealousy or envy for what others have, it implies that deep down, we see ourselves as equals to the person we envy. We don’t envy the sun or the stars—we only envy those who stand on the same ground as us. Perhaps jealousy is a ‘no’ that secretly says ‘yes’—‘I envy you because I acknowledge that you have something I deeply desire.’ Even the most composed and mature people, once struck by jealousy, become insecure, say the opposite of what they mean, and do childish, foolish things. I’m so glad you find that endearing.

As for Higan… well, I've taken a peek at the extra chapter CGs our artist has prepared, and they might actually overturn the image he had in the main story, haha. He appears to be a straightforward, strong-willed tsundere—but as I mentioned in an earlier reply, characters aren't always telling the truth from the MC's perspective; and even from their own perspectives, they can be contradictory or self-deceiving. Still, how you interpret them is entirely up to you.

I haven't often seen a "fawning" type of MC in yandere games before, so I wanted to prove that even such a protagonist can be part of an interesting story (much like how I wrote a bullying MC in my previous work).

In my mind, the two routes have always run parallel to each other, reflecting and illuminating one another. You noticed that—and you understood it—which makes me feel that all those carefully placed parallels weren't wasted.

And you're welcome—as a creator, I'm also grateful to every player who takes the time to play. Receiving a long comment like this genuinely makes my day.
