Yes, the ASCII interface is very make-believe for the player, but I'm an old player of ADOM and, so I hope an interesting mechanics and overall game concept can make up for what the game lacks in terms of graphics. Of course not everyone will like it, but not everyone likes everything anyway, so I'm just doing my thing, as the developer compromise on you Riverbound Empires puts it nicely.
