I've completed the entire game's storyline. What can I say:
Technically, everything is well-executed and fairly intuitive, even for someone who doesn't play horror games.The only time I didn't understand what to do was when you're first given control after the first cutscenes and the camera is pointed at the pool. Personally, I'd have given some kind of text prompt at that point, like "do something" or something like that. 
Everything else works reliably.
