Awh do tell us if you had bad experiences with them. I'm also a repeat buyer and so far, it's alright for me. We'd love to hear your thoughts and understand  :')

They are pretty infamous in the Cotton Doll community.  They originally started up as a branch of DokiDokiCosplay (which has it's own problems but that's not really the issue), and started by selling Genshin Impact designs by artist IsakyTM, quality was better at this time,

The actual problem is that they have been caught multiple times stealing and tracing designs from artists, their "original" Thoma doll was stolen and it took too long to be removed, their SpyxFamily dolls began to be sold before the designer agreed and at a much higher cost than promized iirc, after their collab with Isaky ended they were then caught tracing over Isaky's work for newer Genshin dolls.

I do personally have a gripe with the quality/price as well despite it not being the big issue, they take advantage of the fact that western audiences don't know what the quality and price of a Nui should actually be. It's a hobby that was made to be cheap and good quality.

I know people who would get plushes sized wonky, hair material being a bit flat, and just generally messy threadwork around the fringe. (These issues have all been for their 20cm dolls, I don't know much about the 10cm Starfish bodies as they are much newer, but $20 excluding shipping for mostly printed fabric is a big yikes)

If they were meant to be commercialized, mass-produced plushes I'd be less critical, but it goes against the general ethics and vibes of cotton doll making, pretty much exactly like alt fast fashion on Temu or Wish.

If you are happy with the quality then that's fair enough, it just doesn't appear as very ethical to work with a company that keeps getting caught for stealing.

Tbh I understand that it's lesser known to the west and general public cause it's a decently niche community. But you know, their still scummy so it's worth telling people.

Unfortunately, the standard megathread that people use for receipts on this appears to have been hidden, and all I have is screenshots of screenshots

(removing screenshots cause itch won't let me reply rip)

Thank you for giving such a detailed response, this is the first time that we've heard about any tracing or stealing going on at PlushWonderland. We want to support the indie and art community as best we can since we ourselves are indie developers and understand how difficult it is to be an artist of any kind right now. Our current collaboration has already started, and we have fans who have decided to support the presale/are hoping the 50 plush goal is met so they can buy their own merch later. But, because of everything we've learned, this will be our last collaboration with the company.
