I know this sounds funny but will the full version of the game be released here on itch.io?

Currently the Android version we upload to Play Store and itch.io is considered normal version. This will always be free.
However there could be plan to add enhanced version on itch.io in addition to normal version that has additional story content related to apocalypse. This enhanced version is unfortunately paid version. So yeah if you want call it full version, then it will be available on itch.io in the future.
Another option is to add some sort of in app purchase inside normal version to unlock this story content. This could only happen for Play Store version.
