i agree a lot with this!! i love playing dating sims and romance games mostly because i want to learn about the characters and because it's fun to be so close to them. but i love even more when there are platonic options where i can feel 100% comfortable in the story and it's a shame that friendship is treated in such a shallow way most of the time. i'm trying my best to write about platonic love in a meaningful way (because, after all, it means a lot to me) and i hope other people can learn to appreciate it more too. thank you for your manifesto
