On these newer versions using OpenRouter, I'm defaulted to using Deepseek. Trying to change it only results in trying to change the key.
The mixture of the deepseek and gemma have been forcing a lot of duplicate responses in very repeatable ways from using two custom characters, one PC and NPC.
UnslopNemo was my go-to for OpenRouter, though it misspelled from time to time it didn't have issues with repeating. Most recently, i had an NPC break down into 6 paragraphs of a run-on sentence that repeated itself like a water-damaged robot. Not sure how much it costed, but it has been breaking the flow of the gameplay rather consistently trying to get them to move past their repeat sentences. If the AI is reminded of that response at all, it'll even reuse the same line.
Would it be possible to let us choose between Deepseek+Gemma or other models like UnslopNemo in the future?
There will be support for Gemma 4 31B, which is currently not used in generating the actual dialog, and GLM-5.1 in 1.7.3.
Maybe there's something confusing about your custom characters specifically. Make sure not to add any instructions addressing the LLM to your character descriptions.
Nemo is ancient and no longer sufficient for the current harness.
