that feels like a worse Pooka.
"adjacent villagers cannot share information", how would that work without being instantly obvious? you'd just look for two people who are saying nothing and spot who's between them.
...that, and, corruption; you can at least still used a corrupted's info in a roundabout way. this is just "nuh uh".
