Review from a Paying Customer:
Hardware: Minstrel 3, CRT, joystick
The action's surprisingly smooth for the ZX, got only one crash during my one hour test session (probably caused by my hardware). The text-based graphics are about as good as you can get on a machine like this, and I actually enjoyed my time non-ironically. If only my machine had sound!
On the critique front, the game elements are harder to see against the zero background (I guess it's supposed to be forest). It's somehow distracting. All the other types of background terrain work just fine. The player ship is also quite a chonker, making dodging enemy fire difficult, but that's more of a skill issue on my part.
Overall, I like the game! I hope old computers get more new releases. Well worth the name-your-own-price!
