I like the idea, but I felt in control. I think you could have made the robot move on its own perhaps? =

I think I just interpreted the theme in a purely thematic way. The robot is out of control from the persective of the people you are obliterating. It's not that you are controlling the robot - you are the robot, and your are out of control, nothing in this game can stop you from killing those poor people.
