This game is good, but the UI is frustrating. The QoL improvements have been good progress, but it needs even more QoL.

  1. The lock/pin of the goals and drawer should be persistent; don't make me re-pin them every restart or level change.
  2. It is very difficult to tell if clothes are Fresh, Stinky, or Warm because the animations have invisible frames (or at least they don't play right away when taking items out of machines?) and also Warm is just hard to see. I'd like an option so the keywords for each item are always visible (even when it's dragging), but making the animations more instantly readable is also good.
  3. It is basically impossible to tell the state of any item in a machine. I shouldn't need to mouse-hover to see what's inside; this information should be always available.
  4. Taking clothes out of machines is cute the first time but on later puzzles it is just annoying and a bunch of busywork. Add an option to make clothes automatically return to drawer each turn.
  5. It's a little annoying that I can't see all the goals at once. Maybe each frog could have their own order-ticket hover near them.
  6. What is the floor space for? It seems like pinning the drawer but more awkward because you have to put each item there yourself. I kept trying to use it to spread fresh/stinky but it was a huge red herring. Remove this mechanic? Remove the drawer and keep all the clothes on the floor always?
  7. It would be nice to have an "undo" button to go back a turn.
  8. It's weird that frogs accept incorrect clothes which can soft-lock the level. If I deliver pants that aren't properly Fresh, the frog should just not accept them. Some kind of "wrong" sound plays with a little animation (maybe just a red X, or if you're feeling fancy the frog could get mad or something) to inform you the item is incorrect without making you start over. (Although this change is less important once you have an undo button, it's still a good change from a user feedback perspective.)

Very cute puzzles with a good progression of discovery. I eagerly await the full release!
