The second game turned out kinda gruesome or even sadistic. It is sad, you can't save all the girls, only brainwash them with AI. In all endings MC forced to kill some girls personalities or watch, how AI killing them. Or i just misunderstood something.

I tried few times, it always ends up with girls been changed by merging with AI (if player wish to save at least part of them, as result original personalities dies anyway). I don't understand, why author decided to kill them, even if player gives the discrete personal body to AI. And there is absolutely no choice to properly delete the AI. Maybe i just didn't find the good ending, i just don't understand how to achieve it.
You do have to use (in my experience at least) the merging chip, but both the AI and Aurora consent to this. Mangle and her AI come to an agreement and merge on their own without any outside help. Roxy's AI has to be removed as it is trying to take her over. Chica's AI consents to removal.
In summary, Roxy's AI is the only one who suffers.
The girls do still keep their personalities, as the AI and the soul have the same personality, and everything is consented to. From what I have understood, only Aurora merges with her AI, as Mangle and her AI agree to coinhabit the same body, and Chica and Roxy have their AI's removed completely
