Not sure if this is the best ending (and I also kind of forgot), but:

1. Start the mission to save the girls

2. Accept Zero’s (Golden Frenni) hug by allowing her into the office

3. Train your ‘Supernatural’ skill until you have enough for the magic shop. Once you have enough skill point, train your ‘Tech’ skill

4. At the magic shop, buy the talisman for memory

5. When confronted by Fexa to meet in private, accept her proposal and meet her in the private booth

6. If you have enough ‘Tech’ skill, you should be able to save Fexa. Furthermore, you’ll be able to meet and recruit Lexy (the shark girl)

7. After that, you just need to focus on ‘Missing Persons’ skill for Bonfie

8. I think at some point, you can save Chiku by preventing the update from being installed into her

9. At some point, Frenni might ask to speak with you in private, probably in the private booth. This should be your chance to save her through hacking

9. When asked to help Chiku with the pizza, bring Bonfie with you. If you know her real name, you could save Bonfie

10. When confronted by Frenni V2 (still the same Frenni) to speak with you privately, agree to meet with her in the private booth. Marie should catch on and confront the both of you, but you should know Marie’s real name through the hard drive from the earlier cleanup scene (might need ‘Tech’ or ‘Security’) and searching her up

11. Forgot what to do to access Smith’s office. But once you have access, you beat the game and saved all of the possible girls

NOTE: I could be completely wrong, since it’s been a while. So be sure to keep separate save files to backtrack

To break into Smith’s office, there are two ways

1. You have to max out your security skill (or maybe get it high enough) to bypass the lock without triggering the alarm

2. You have to max out your magic skill (or get it high enough) to unlock the magic shop and for the ritual. With the magic shop, you have to buy the thunderstorm ritual components and must have ectoplasm from Zero (Golden Frennie)

How do you unlock the 'Dating' achievement with Luna? Since I chose the 'Date' activity, but I didn't get any achievement for it.

oh, it’s a multiplier then? Got it, thanks

What does the green house booster mean, other than it activates with the blue circle booster?

Since I assume that the red heart booster is for Alex and the blue circle booster is for resource gathering. But I have no idea what the green house booster is for

Oh, thought they were referring to the ending with the normal Frenni scenes

Not sure if you already found her or still care, but from my experience:

  1. I have a magic skill of at least 400 before getting my first paycheck. This is so that the magic shop is unlocked and I can buy the memory ward. This ward isn’t necessary to meet Lexy, but is necessary to keep her around
  2. I have a coding skill of 750 or more, on the day you don’t need to go to work. So the same day you get the paycheck
  3. When Fexa asked to speak with you in private, I chose to meet her in the VIP booth. Once there, I rescued her due to my coding skill and Lexy soon appeared to congratulate the attempt

A late response, but I’m not sure if it would be a good idea to turn the visual novel game into a part management game after the ending. Maybe that could be a separate game, and it could either build off the good ending or the employee ending (since both does lead to the MC managing a business)

From my experience, this requires performing the thunderstorm ritual without getting the ectoplasm. However, you need to get the components really, before your first paycheck. Meaning that you need to do some research into magic without going over the threshold (for me it’s 400)

Once you got the thunderstorm ritual, just max out your security skill. With the rest of your research points, you can just do coding or missing person, but no more magic. This is so that the ritual will fail, but you’ll still be able to enter Smith’s room with your high security skill

For me, it’s when I successfully performed the thunderstorm ritual, but got no protection, and Bonfie (not sure if this also includes Chiku) was not rescued

Nice chapter

Find the conversation near the end to be funny

oh ok, got it. Thanks

Possible through SubscribeStar as well?

Question, how long does it take to reach the silver rank in the hunter's guild?

The numbers on the right shows the required total value of the row. The numbers on the bottom shows the required total value of the column.

The Roman numeral shows the value of each cell, relative to the total value of the row/column. If you’re focusing on a row, then only the horizontal cell values are relevant. Otherwise, only the vertical cell values are relevant when focusing on a column.

Sorry if I can’t explain any better, but you can also search up the tutorial of the puzzle. Was able to know how this type of puzzle works through Google. I forgot what the name of that puzzle is, but the name is shown vertically when doing that puzzle.

Oh ok, thanks

Question, will she actually be freed after completing all the games? Or does it have to be completed with the best rank?

Nice game so far, kind of like Socket, even if she acts like that. Although, can’t really complain since I probably should’ve expected it.

So I tried your game and I ran into a problem after entering "1". If I were to type anything other than "Outside" (such as "Info"), the terminal (I'm on Mac) prints out nothing. I checked your code and I believe the issue could be because the first if-statement checks if the input is "Outside", if it's not equal then it prints nothing and goes to the next if-statement "if input()=="Yes":".

Of course since I checked your code I was able to find the ending, which I guess was a bit funny. I think an improvement to this short python game would be put a while-loop and a variable at the start of the while-loop that's equal to an input() so that the while-loop checks if the user did not typed in the word "exit" or "terminate", if they did then the program would just stop. There should also be the same variable before the while-loop so that the while-loop can get running in the first place.

Within the while-loop, there should if, elif, and else statements that only works depending on what the variable (at the start of the while-loop) is. That way if one of those statements return true, all of the statements will be ignored and the program will return to the beginning of the while-loop.

Hope this makes sense cause I'm not that great at explaining stuff.

Yeah, I hope once I created more games (which may or may not be related to this) I could do better.

For the “saving Colin” part once you completed the objective (by going right of the hole and interacting with the shelves), go back to the hole and just walk all the way to the end of the path

(1 edit)

Sorry for not being clear

If by the supermarket you’re referring to the first one, after you collected the supplies just simply walk through the entrance.

Oh and this might be late, but the way to progress through this “game” is to walk over to a certain tile. Trying to walk over this tile without completing the objective would not progress the story and sometimes it’s obvious to know whether or not the tile will let you progress through the story (eg. green arrows or narrow path)

ok thanks

Is it okay to submit like a fanmade game, after giving credits?

Huh, that’s weird. Did you tried pressing “Q” and “E” once reaching wave 2? If not, then sorry for not making it clear.

oh, welp

Time to use two computers then

Oh, so I can't play by myself?

Quick question, when you create a room, do you become a host?

Cause when I created a room, it directs me to a screen that says "Waiting for host to start the game..."

Oh ok thanks.

It’s just that I have this idea where I want to either add a section or make changes to an existing section of an indie game that I saw a youtuber played.

1. Would it be against the rules if I were to only add one level to the game?
Ex: Let’s say in a regular Mario game there’s only 6 levels, in my fan-game it would only focus on a new level called “level 7”. Would that be against the rules?

2. Would it be against the rules to only make one change to a level from an original game?
Ex: The final boss of a regular Mario game is Bowser. But in my fan-game the final boss would just be a different enemy or simply robot Bowser that is more harder than the original. Would that be against the rules?

Thanks

oh ok thanks.

Anybody know any program/tool (besides Pixilart, Microsoft Paint, and Inkscape) that can be used to make 2D sprites?

Thanks
