In version 2.1 some of the issues that you mentioned have now being resolved:
- Now, sometimes quests give the player a choice of either an item or cash reward
- The fiinal scrap merchant has virtually unlimited funds.
- Also, the game now adjusts the scrap value and repair costs depending on the amount of money that the player spends.
- There are more locations and more enemies in the final level
- For variety, there are now some scenes have just one building surrounded by a wall
- The "retreat in hostage scene" bug has been fixed.
