In version 2.1 some of the issues that you mentioned have now being resolved:

  • Now, sometimes quests give the player a choice of either an item or cash reward
  • The fiinal scrap merchant has virtually unlimited funds. 
  • Also, the game now adjusts the scrap value and repair costs depending on the amount of money that the player spends.
  • There are more locations and more enemies in the final level
  • For variety, there are now some scenes have just one building surrounded by a wall 
  • The "retreat in hostage scene" bug has been fixed. 

Hey Ed, I am glad to see the game evolve. Right now I don't have the time for testing, but I will definitely be back in a few months.
